A diaper bag can be a lifesaver for any parent, after all, it's where you keep all the things your baby may need or want. No matter what happens your diaper bag should be prepared for it all.
Your diaper bag is expected to be prepared for the worst, you know what I'm talking about... the dreaded blowouts. They are bound to happen at one point or another. On top of that, they are expected to hold many toys and snacks to keep your little one distracted and full.
When packing your diaper bag there will be a few items that will be kept in the bag at all times. This way you aren't searching the house for everything moments before walking out the door.
Keeping your diaper bag organized and clean is important to ensure that everything and anything can fit in your diaper bag (depending on its size). These products are crucial for your perfect diaper bag kit.

1. A large diaper bag is obviously required, but which is the best one for you? Some can be worn as a backpack for hands-free transportation others are more like a tote bag or even a stylish purse. No matter the style you want to be sure your diaper bag has plenty of pockets and insulated compartments for bottles. I recommend designating each pocket to different things to easily find what you need. You also want to be sure that you are prepared with a diaper changing mat or a pull-out changing crib for those last-minute emergencies. If you are in a relationship or a single parent, you want to be sure that the people/person who will be carrying this bag around with them for the next 2 almost 3 years is comfortable and gender neutral. Choose wisely, and good luck!
2. Wipes are helpful when cleaning up diaper changes, but you will quickly find out they can be useful for many other things. Such as wiping up messy hands and faces or wiping off changing stations, cart handles, or restaurant tables and chairs. These wipes are super effective and are also safe for those with sensitive skin as they are unscented and hypoallergenic.
3. Not to state the obvious but you are going to need these. Although it is tempting to cram in as many as possible, a good rule is at least one diaper for every hour you will be out. With that, packing a few extra just in case is never a bad idea.

4. This is a must in my book because you never know who or what you've touched before feeding or changing your baby. If washing your hands is not an option this is the next best. These travel sizes tuck away easily. Sun Bum does a great job making sure they aren't only cleaning your hands but also moisturizing. The opposite of what most hand-sanitizers do.

5. No matter where you are, your little muncher is going to be ready to snack. Not only are these a great snack but they are also a great distraction. If your little one is still bottle feeding or nursing, be sure to accommodate their needs. (Nursing Covers)
6. There are plenty of times a baby needs a good distraction. If they aren't hungry then maybe it's time to whip out a couple of toys. Toys like these are easy to store in your bag and provide plenty of entertainment for your little ones.
7. The truth about parenting is that messes are bound to happen. You can always try your best to prevent them but when all else fails, an extra set of clothes for your little one is always a good idea. Just don't forget to take out the dirty clothes when you get home!
8. For those of you that are using a formula to feed your little one, you will quickly realize that carrying around a 20 oz container just isn't ideal. Formula dispensers are easy to use and can hold plenty of formula for your little one while you're out.

9.  No matter what your baby is going to make messes that you won't want to waste all your wipes on. Burp cloths are good for more than just spit up, they are also great for spills and drool. I was always sure to have at least one of these bad boys in my diaper bag, especially during the first few months.

10. This is one thing that no one talks about but I swear it is a lifesaver. I learned late into the formula feeding game that your not always going to have a place to heat up your baby's water when they are ready to eat. So whether it be warm water for a formula or hot milk - a thermos is a must. In the future, you can repurpose it for your toddler's juice.
11. These colorful little caps are something that will soon be your best friend. Anywhere you go without these guys will not be fun. These make it super easy for your little ones to take care of themselves for a moment when you need that breather. Pop one of these guys on a pouch and let your munchkin chow.

12. Let's face it, there isn't always a proper way to dispose of that stinky diaper. The best solution is to use mini trash bags or even reuse your plastic grocery bags to tie up the stench until you find an appropriate disposal location.
